Zarita Mattox-Wright PH.D. Dean
Zarita was born in Brooklyn, New York, the eldest of five (5) children. She
received the Lord & was filled with the Holy Ghost at the age of 20 years old on
December 8, 1973 and has faithfully served the Lord and her local church for the past 46 years. She currently attends St. Mary Primitive Baptist church in Punta Gorda Florida.
Zarita’s professional experience encompasses a variety of positions including Founder and Dean of God’s Word First School of Christian Counseling, She has retired from Ocean County Library, were she was the Chief Librarian/Branch Manager of the Toms River Branch Headquarters. Previously, she was employed as a Teacher & Director of various Day Cares, Head-start Centers, Christian Schools, and District Coordinator of Teen-Age Parenting Program for the Toms River Regional Schools
Zarita received her Education at; Orange County Community College (Associate of Arts Degree: Performing Arts); Kean University, Union, NJ (B.A.Degree: Early Childhood & Elementary Education); Logos Bible College, Jacksonville, Fl. (Masters: Biblical Theology); Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ (Masters: Library & Information Sciences); and Cornerstone University, Lake Charles, La. (Ph.D.: Clinical Christian Counseling)
Zarita’s extensive background in Development Training and her
Entrepreneurial Experience is characterized by a multifaceted approach that
aims to provide holistic care to those she serves in areas that meet the
Whole/Total Person – Mind, Soul and Body. To that end, she has established
several outreach programs & conducted workshops, conferences and seminars
throughout the Country.
She is an Innovative, Dynamic, Anointed and Gifted Worshiper & Inspirational
Speaker. She has traveled extensively throughout the country and world
proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, bringing a message of hope, love and joy
to numerous souls.
Zarita loves her family very dearly and receives the full support of her
Husband Charles Wright and three adult children, who give her their
encouragement and blessings. She gives all the Praise, Glory &Honor to God for
the Things He Has Done in her Life.
Jarett White PH.D. Professor
Jarett White is an Education Program Development Specialist for the
Office of Training and Professional Development (OTPD) within the
Department of Children and Families. Training, curriculum writing, as
well as supervising staff are among his roles. He was responsible for
scheduling the statewide training that the OTPD offers the department
staff. This massive undertaking includes match trainers with training
and identifying locations for training throughout the state. Dr. White
was a Principal Training Technician for the Division of Youth and
Family Services (DYFS) He trained new employees to perform child abuse
investigation and prepare them to identify child safety and risk
issues. He also was a Family Service Specialist caseworker for DYFS
and worked in both the Permanency and Residential Units.
He is originally from Buffalo, New York. He attended Howard University
in Washington, DC, and earned a Master’s degree at Texas A&M
University. He moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to work as Training
Supervisor for the Philadelphia Ranger Corps. Dr. White worked for the
Fresh Air Fund as Assistant Director of the Career Awareness Program
for several years.
He moved to New Jersey to work for the Student Conservation
Association where he was responsible for hiring and training staff to
take high school students on five to six-week service projects in
National Parks throughout the country.
Dr. Jarett White has a Doctorate degree as a License Clinical Pastoral
Counselor from Cornerstone University in Lake Charles, LA. He is an
active member of Epic Church International where he serves on the
Marriage Enrichment Ministries. He lives in New Jersey with his wife
and high school age son.
